Resilience by Design
Climbing a hard route isn’t just technical, it’s emotional. It takes pattern recognition, calm under pressure, and the courage to stay with discomfort.
When designing in uncertainty, I draw on the same skills:
thoughtful exploration, creative structure, and patient resilience.
Responsiveness by Design
Skiing sharpened my ability to stay responsive in motion, reading the slope, adjusting with speed, and staying grounded even in shifting terrain.
That’s how I approach product design too:
with adaptability, focus, and a flow mindset
that keeps things moving, even when things aren’t certain.
Sensitivity by Design
Drawing comics is a process of building characters: observing how they move, react, and feel. It teaches me to notice subtleties and stay close to emotion.
In user research, I bring that same lens:
seeing beyond surface behavior to understand the people behind it, with empathy and curiosity.
